Hello ya all. I'm installing a automatic dimming rear view mirror, the car was ordered,?, Without one. Can anybody tell me on black( ground),:the other two wires look like brown maybe gray, where should the splice be. I got a used oem mirror that has the 3 wire harness. I appreciate ya all

all TL's came from factory with auto dimming mirror.

 

Are you installing it in 2005 TL? There should be a connector for it unless somebody cut it off.

Anyways, one is key-on power, other gets power when you throw car in reverse (most likely to disable the dimming feature to make backing up easier) (you can leave this one).
