This morning, our 2007 TLS type S 5AT made a very pronounced, ugly grinding noise when in reverse - several times. We have only owned it for two months and it only has 2000 miles on it. I am quite shocked, and disappointed that possible transmission problems would occur this quickly! My wife and I are in our 40's, and do not abuse our automobiles.

The outside temperature display is also very undependable, it is almost always incorrect - such as indicating 36 degrees F all day, but the actual temperature is well into the 50's.

The navagation system has been unable to find directly input street addresses of several hotels, but if the destination is entered as a place of interest, it will then find them.

The rear suspension is starting to become annoyingly loud when on uneven pavement, or when hitting bumps.

We purchased an Acura because of the continuous problems with our BMW 330ci, and we had faith in the Honda Motor Company to build a reliable solid automobile. Our Acura TL-S is proving to be just as much of a pain as the BMW, and I am beginning to be sorry that we did not purchase the Lexus IS350. I will let you guys know how this turns out, but we probably will not be keeping this TL-S very long.
