Hi guys,

The radio on my base TL started doing some funky stuff today.

Basically, everything was fine in the morning when I drove to work. When I returned to the car after work, the radio (which was set to FM when the car had been switched off in the morning) defaulted to AUX.

When I set it back to FM..it would play the radio for about 30 seconds then go back to AUX with a clicking sound.

I unplugged the AUX cable however the behaviour continued.

When I switched to XM - same thing. It would play for a few seconds and then I would get a sound from the speakers like someone was plugging in a cable...the radio would stop for a few seconds then the sound would only for he cycle to continue...

I switched the radio off for a while but the issue continues...

I should add there have been no alterations to the radio since I bought the car and everything else is fine..no issues no warning.

I would hate to be taken to the cleaners at the dealer - so that's my last resort.

anyone come across a similar issue and any suggestions I can try?

It almost seems like a wire may b lose somewhere but I haven't touched anything so not sure how that could happen out of the blue....any help would be awesome
