2007 TL DRL not working
I did a search and found a ton of threads regarding replacement of DRL, but I am trying to locate the DRL module on my 2007 TL. About a week ago my dash DRL light popped on and my DRLs are not working. Regular headlight beams are fine only DRLs are off. Checked emergency brake and fuse. Heard that the modules sometimes have solder problems.
I just can't seem to find any information on where to locate the module.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked your bulbs by chance?
Pretty but go simple then difficult when troubleshooting.

I've never heard of the modules going bad.
As suggested, try checking the bulbs?
Then again, I havnt heard of OEM DRL bulbs going out either.

yep....bulbs are fine. During my search I found many threads regarding modules and solder issues....reminds me of the HFL problem. Anyway....I can not find anything regarding location of the module so that I can take a look. Various Hondas have the part under different parts of dash or on firewall. Not a vital part for a car with 200,000 miles, but I kinda like them.

my problem is definitely not the bulbs....checked twice and they are fine....in fact my drl started working again two days ago, then are back off today. Still trying to find info on location of module and a replacement if not too much $....otherwise NBD.

Got the part number, but can not find the part: RC - 5102. Acura and the usual auto part stores do not seem to carry and I can not find the equivalent

Well, replaced the DRL relay....not the problem....still no DRL.
Any other ideas appreciated. Is there a control module somewhere?

make sure your car doesn't short out someplace cause the wiring to be burn out instead of replay or fuse. You need to check to see where the power get cut off. sill thing to ask tho but did you check the fuse for DRL?

fuse is good....first thing that I checked, but thanks for pointing out....I have done stuff like that before and forgot the easy solution first.
I will keep hunting....must be a bad connection somewhere

no fix.....must be a bad connection somewhere. On for a month and then off for a month....random. And getting the passenger bulb out is a PITA. Oh well.

I went to the Acura dealership and this is what they put on my receipt. Has anyone tried replacing the entire fuse relay box or anything else they can understand from this picture? They quoted me $960 CAN to fix which I didn't go through with.

Any resolution to this? My DRLs are doing the same thing now. Tried 2 good bulbs, checked fuses, not sure what to do

I got another quote from a recommended auto electric technician who said the same thing being to replace with a new underhood fuse relay box assembly. I ordered one from Acura for $432 CDN plus tax and my auto electric technician installed it for an hour of labour. Its been 4 months and I haven't had a problem. Hopefully this thread helps!
