2007 TL Battery Drain Issue Fixed

Just got the car back from the garage. Had parasitic drain on battery after the hands free circuit board in the overhead console was disconnected. Parasitic draw was traced to the underhood fuse #16.

My mechanic, L H Boulanger & Son located in New Bedford, Massachusetts has a diagnostic piece of equipment from Snap on Tools. When the piece of equipment is placed on the problem circuit, it was able to determine that the problem with the circuit was not a chafed wire grounding out. The equipment then was directed to send some sort of cleaning message through the circuit, resulting in the circuit having been cleaned and working as it was originally designed too.

I don't know how it actually works, but it somehow cleans and repairs the circuit.

If you are working with a facility that does automotive electrical work, you might ask them about the Snap on tool or find a Snap on dealer and ask them who might have the tool and visit that shop.

It worked for me, hope it works for you.
