2007 TL 3.2 timing belt
I removed the camshaft pulley, Book says to " Thread the long battery hold-down bolt into boss to hold the timing belt adjuster in position". Can't find threaded battery hold-down bolt just electrical wires and 2 bolts holding timing belt adjuster?
Any help. I'm just replacing timing belt (kit) and serpentine belt.
Thanks Devo60!!

The battery tie down bolt is literally one of the two rods holding your battery in. You'll need to go to your battery, undo one of the nuts and fish out the long bolt.
Then go back to the timing belt side with that long bolt and look for a small threaded hole near the tensioner. Thread the bolt through that hole which will apply pressure to a nub on the tensioner (look at your new tensioner and see the nub on it?). You dont need to thread it super tight since it's merely there to prevent the tensioner from moving. you're not using the bolt to push the tensioner.
This step isnt totally necessary but it will help when taking the old belt off.

I just dis mine, the tie down is one of the rods holding the battery down. when you take it out the place you are screwing it in is under the reak cam pulley, in the dirction towards the tensioner pulley. it will kind of brace it towards the tensioner nad hold it in place. once you do that you screw out the idler puller first ..
