2005 with BDGA trans......TROUBLES
I bought a 2005 with that the previous owner said they swapped a 2007 engine and transmission into. He said everything worked fine and it drove good until the transmission went out. ( I wonder now if it has ever drove since they have done the swap) So I bought the car thinking it needed a transmission. When I got it it did not have any codes nor would it go into reverse. Just like you put it in neutral when it was in reverse. When put in drive there is a 5-7 second delay then it drops hard into gear and jumps a little. Still no codes though. Before swapping transmissions I checked all the screens in solinoids and even swapped solinoids themselves with the other replacement trans I had. Still did the same thing. So I swapped actual transmissions. He told me this trans swap was all plug and play and they did not have to do any re-pinning of the harness. Everything does seem to be in the factory loom yet so I don't disagree with that but it does appear that they used the 2007 transmission harness as the harness fits the trans nice and I believe the 04-05 trans sensors and solinoids were in different spots. I have done a lot of reading about people using the 06-07 accord trans and all they talk about changing is the range sensor harness? All this seems to plug in good so I'm just not sure. The car does still have the 05 ecu. Please help!!!!!
It fits in there fine. The top mount it missing so maybe that didn't fit but otherwise it's in there. Besides physical mounting what is different about them? Like I said all the sensors are plugged in and appear to be communicating with the ecu because if I unplug them one by one then I get a flashing indicator.
I thought the 07-08 Transmissions had a different Bell Housing
They definitely have different transmission pressure switches hence the reason for different DIY's here:

Correct. Using a scan tool the vin and year both match the car. 2005. Engine seems to run fine with no check engine lights or anything. That's where I'm not quite sure because it looks like they used the engine and trans harness from the 2007 as it fits everything well. It seems to plug into the cars original bulkhead fine from what I can tell. Does anyone know the differences that way? Like I said earlier if I unplug sensors I get a check engine light and flashing p-r-n-d indicator. Not that that makes them right but it seems they are communicating.
