It appears your punctuation buttons on your keyboard are broken as well.

Brake pedal being stiff when the car is off is expected and should have nothing to do with your car being able to crank or not.

If you have lights and no starter sound, probably starter. You can check voltage at starter when key turned to start position,
and/or jump starter to see if any action. If starter doesn't turn, starter bad, if it turns other problem, e.g. neutral safety switch or ignition switch.

BUMP.

I am having a similar problem. no crank-no start. out of nowhere my TL just wouldnt start and it only makes the click.
troubleshooting:
-car was jumped. no effect
-checked battery. its good and its got charge
-checked all fuses. all were good
-I took the starter out and tested at autopart store (its good)
-checked starter relay( inside, driver side by the pedals. I also swapped a good know relay)
REFERENCE (
) ALL CHECKS OUT

and the condition persist. now for the weird symptoms.
-it died all of the sudden. no previous starting issues
-all electronics work EXCEPT driver side window which went out the same day as the day it wouldn't start.
-I got the car to start during troubleshooting. but after put everything back together it wouldn't start

on the statement above: during Troubleshooting I noticed that the starter was unplugged so I plugged back in put the batter back and I got it to start but since I had all taken out to reach the started I had to put everything back on, once done I was happy went to start it again and nothing... just click. ( yes, the connections to the starter are solid and it did not came undone)

at this point I dont know what else to test or how to fix it. my guess is that something is not making contact. does anyone have any suggestions on how to isolate this issue ?
