so i was driving on the highway, put a little gas on it to pick up speed and 4th gear slipped took about 5 seconds to catch the gear and the rpms flew freely.
its getting gradually worse and every gear is beginning to slip as well as reverse

ive had my mechanic look at it and he said he didnt feel anything wrong with it but he continued to drain the ATF fluid in hopes to solve my problem

it didnt help ! so basically after 3k rpms every gear will slip , and reverse wont catch until about 5 seconds after engaged

what am i to do ?!?! will i have to replace it and pay out of pocket or is there anything acura will do for me ive searched buy not many have actually stated what thier final outcome was !

 

i forgot to mention i have 63k miles and no errors on the dashboard no CEL VSA nothing , and my cars been very good in the past all maintence is done on time by a very reputable mechanic with no major problems in my history

 

same problem here with my transmission (02 CL type S) that was instaled by acura in 2008 and it has 24K on it

 

have u checked with your local acura dealership if they can do anything?

Good advice. I'd take it to the stealership.

 

My dealer had my car for a week and could not duplicate the problem, YOu have to go on a long trip at hwy speeds (about 30 miles) before it starts to act up

 

i have not tried yet, im guna give it a try on monday nd see what they say my only problem is the closest dealership to me is like 30 miles away and it highly possible i can get stuck half way nd not make it
