2004 TL Transmission Recall

Has anyone successfully had Acura replace their transmission for free or at a reduced cost? (The 2004 TL has a recall on the transmission.)

Several people, but each case is different. Best is to call your local dealership and talk to the the GM or whoever is in charge of service.

If that doesn't go well, call Acura Corp.

I went in for the recall at 50k and they replaced a part. Lucky for them and me i got the extended warranty (to 100k) and 30 miles before it expired the transmission went.
