Hello,

I bought my TL 1 week ago and I noticed today the side mirrors do not go down when reversing anymore. Has anyone had this happen? And what is the fix?

 

Sounds like you need to check your blinker fluid.. Should be an easy fix..





JK Bro, there is no such thing as blinker fluid!!! Haha!! I'm not sure how to fix it, free bump for you.

 

It's one or the other, or neither, depending on switch position. Check the switch position.

Could also be a circuit breaker, #20. If you windshield washer doesn't work and the green light in the rear view mirror is out, then it's definitely the fuse. There's been a rash of this happening this winter due to trying to run the washer motor with frozen lines.

 

theres a switch right above the toggle button to change the angle of your mirrors. I believe it just has a simple "L" "R" on it. you prob. accidently hit the switch to the center so its not selecting a side because our mirrors only lilt one side...well thats how my 05 tl is..but if not then i have no idea

 

Thanks. I will try the L and R buttons. I assume it has to be on a side rather then the center for it to work? If that is not it I will check the fuse. 2nd minor issue I am having and had the car for a week. The sunroof vibration noise is more annoying right now. Any advice on that?
