2004 TL Navigation Problem

I just purchased a 2004 TL with Navi, and I've run into a big problem. Whoever the dealership acquired the car from had a PIN number for their Navigation. The dealership I bought this from didn't have the old owner's PIN so I am stuck with no Navi, no radio, no bluetooth. Is there anyway around this saved PIN or do I have to drive 150 miles to the nearest Acura dealer to have the Navi unit pulled? Is there a way to reset the system without getting bent over by the Acura dealer?

Thanks guys & gals in advance...

NE

Did the dealership you bought it from tell you, you could get the code no problem? If so they need to be the ones getting this for you. Also, why would you buy a vehicle that the nearest authorized service location is 150 miles away? Have you called Acura Customer Service about this problem? 800-382-2238

open the glovebox, on the left hand side, the radio codes should be pasted there. Or ook around the inside of the glove box and it should be there.

We normally stick all radio and nav codes on the side of the glovebox. We also write the codes in the maintenance journals during our pre-delivery inspection.

Worse comes to worse...get to your nearest Acura dealership and they can get the serial number of both devices and get you the code. They should be able to run a vin check on Acura's system to get codes as well. We have ran into this problem in the past when customers lose this info or the dealership they purchased the car from did not provide the information.

Well, I was able to get ahold of Acura Customer Service which directed me to the original dealership of sale. They were able to give me both the NAVI and Radio codes. Thanks all!

Now if I can just figure out how to input the Radio code heh...my new manuals won't be here till next week.
