2004 Acura tl transmission fill plug

Does anybody know where the fill plug is on a 2004 acura tl. I've watched a few videos and they are not quite clear on where it is. I think I have located. But it looks like there is a line running on the top of it that may have to be Unbolted and moved over to access it. Also is it necessary to replace the filter as well when doing the 3x3 drain and fill?

That's the oiljet line, you can remove the bolt holding it down and lift it up.

I just fill my transmission using the dip stick hole.

So the full plug is underneath that?

Ignore my post above. It seems some 2004 TL have a fitting on top of the fill hole.

The first picture in your link which shows a black hose going into the transmission is exactly where the ATF fill port is. You'll have to unbolt the black piece with the hose and pull it up & out of the transmission. Even after unscrewing the bolt holding it in, it may be difficult to pull out.

Don't pull on it by the hose or you'll be sorry.

Quicker than asking on a forum how long it takes to do it

You are going to need to PB Blast the bolt and then use a breaker bar to get that bolt loose.

Save yourself a lot of time and refill the transmission through the dipstick tube. It’s the quickest and easiest way.

Definitely not the quickest. I filled mine through the fill hole and it was slow even then.
