2004 Acura TL Performance Problem

Hello everyone, I'm new to this, so if anything is out of order, please correct me. I have a 2004 acura TL with 150,000 miles on it. Its been a great car. Recently my check engine light came on, I scanned it and the "P0430" code came up. I was told to replace the rear o2 sensor bank 2, and it would fix my problem. I did so and i'm still having performance problems. Once the car warms up, after about 3000 rpms theres hardly any power and it sounds like its just sucking in air. The car is completely stock minus a k & n filter. Any suggestions that anyone can help? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds almost like "limp mode".

Any sign of transmission issues (I.e. flashing "D" indicator)?

Maybe clear existing codes and try restting the ECU (remove the NEG battery cable for ~15 mins).

If that doesn't work, maybe it'll cause it throw a new code that you can trouble-shoot.

Since it's cat related,
1. O2 sensor
2. injector cleaner (since each injectors had chance of carbon deposit of 150000*1000+ cycles or more)
3. or anything related to air/fuel mixture.

fuel pump - maybe the pressure is too weak to spray fast over 3k rpm

I'm just throwing ideas of "general fuel injected cars"

Ditto the ECU reset.

any strange powder coming from the tailpipe?

My old integra with a clogged/failed cat became nearly undriveable. Couldnt exceed 20 mph due to the clog. Flooring the thing almost seemed like it went slower, so I called roadside and got towed.

If feels like going from 1/4 throttle or so to full throttle does nothing but make the car louder, it could be a clogged cat.

Try the downstream 02 sensors. Fixed all my low end problems. Thats the last sensor i have replaced because i thought nothing of it but boy was i wrong....Ive been dealing with that problem for so many years and finally my car drives like it should again. The downstream sensors have a big effect on the fuel trim and here i was told otherwise....

Recently my check engine light came on, I scanned it and the "P0430" code came up. After about 3000 rpms theres hardly any power, It just seems like it is getting louder. At 5500 rpms it bounces off something like a rev limiter so i have read other places on here that points to the vtec not engaging.
