I have an 04 dgp acura tl, and about a month ago i replaced the brakes without turning them. The brakes were an aftermarket set from advance auto parts. First i put them on and they squealed. I took them off and applied the brake squeal. Was good for a while but then started squealing again. Now should I have turned(shimed) the rotors and used oem brakes? I just can't stand the squeal and i can't stand the squeal.

Also if i did use oem brakes, could i use aftermarket rotors?

Have you ever tried this. I looked at it and ive never even heard of it. My friend told me aftermarket brakes are going to squeal anyways and like i said before the rotors are not new or have not been cut or turned.
