Hi I was told by a mechanic that my front lower control arms needed to be replaced. However when looking online all I can find is ones marked for rear suspension. Am I searching wrong? I feel like an idiot, I can usually understand enough to get the right parts and my husband puts them on. Is there any way I misunderstood the guy? And it would actually be the rear?

 

What needs to be replaced are the bushings. There are 3 of them in total.
Youre mechanic should be able to get you oem bushings which he can then press them into your current lower control arm. It's definitely a lot cheaper than buying a whole new arm.
Unless he saw the control arm cracked.

The 3 bushings as "flyromeo3" stated are part numbers #9 ,#10 and #11 as per diagram..... your mechanic should be able to press them out...good luck!

 

If you care about your husband buy a new arm instead of just a bushing I did the later on mine once whatta bitch that was

 

It may also pay to get a wheel alignment done after you have replaced the control arm bushings or complete lower arms.
