2 part question on nav.. help please

So it looks like the backlight went out on my 06 TL nav screen. i get no image at all but noticed I could still hit some buttons on the screen because i saw the audio sub change on the upper screen where the clock is and i get beeps just cant see what i am hitting. here is where i need help.

1. Once i disconnect the battery I wont be able enter the nav code since I cant see the numbers on the screen and my battery is about shot. anyone happen to have a picture of the code entry screen?

2. any idea what to look at to fix it or is it just dead? sadly i love the car but its getting ready to become my daily beater until the wheels fall off.

You can pick up a new screen for around $100 or search for a company to send it to and have fixed. Will probably be more than $100 to do that.

100 isnt bad. I am guessing no instructions in the garage for that one? I noticed today the clock needs to be set since the time change never realized how much i needed the screen that i never use lol

I can't find one with a quick search. I think there are Youtube Videos of it though.

Search ebay for a replacement. One from an '04, 05, or '06 should work.
