18" Aspec Stock Suspension and Rubbing??!?

I put on my new 18" ASpecs and now my rear wheels are rubbing when I hit a bump in the road or when i corner hard. The car is not dropped. Stock springs with KYB shocks. And i just had these KYBs installed not to long ago but did not notice the rubbing until i put on the Aspecs. Anyone experiance this?? Tires are 235/45/18.

double check your tire sizes again. the stock tire size is 235/40/18 so if you're running 235/45 that's why you're rubbing. a 45 series tire is too big.

But got to add that the 235/45-18 at 26.32" is only about 5/8" taller than the 245/40-18 or 245/45-17 at 25.7". Divide that in half and the tire will only be about 5/16" taller at the top which really shouldn't present a problem as there should still be about 2 finger clearance between the top of the tire and body. If the new shocks are soft and are allowing the suspension to drop significantly, then the rubbing can occur, but with the stock stiff suspension, the car shouldn't move that much.

All this talk about tire size witch is good but what about back spacing of the rims? Is it correct? I"m looking into replacing my wheels and know to look at the back spacing just in case. Hope this helps some?
