'08 TL won't start under high heat

For the past week or so, when it's over 100 degrees either the car starts very weak or recently isn't starting at all. Occasionally it'll click as if it's almost turning over but recently there is zero power, like the car wont even unlock itself unless it's manually. I took it to autozone since I thought it was either the battery or alternator but it's not and I'm all out of ideas. I'm pretty bad at cars, so it's probably going to go into the shop tomorrow, but does anyone have any ideas for a potentially easy fix?

Certainly seems like a battery issue as even the electrical components don't function properly. Turn on the lights and try and start, if the lights go out or dim drastically, it's electrical, so for starters make certain the terminals are clean and tight. If you have a multimeter put it on the terminals, check voltage, then try to start and watch the meter for voltage drop. Other than this, looks like it needs some investigation.
