Hi Everyone,

as the title states my TL isn't reaching operating temperatures. I am assuming the Thermostat is stuck open and I'm looking to replace it.

Just want to know if anyones replaced it on their own? Is it a Big job and do we have any DIY?

Out of curiosity, is your temp needle sitting at about the 1/4 mark?

the thermostat is replaceable at home with some basic hand tools, the only hard part is figuring out how to get the 2nd bolt off.

if you let the car sit and idle, does it warm up? if so, does it cool off when you start moving? If yes to both then you got a t-stat issue and need to replace it.

the best way to test is set the heat on max and let it idle. if it gets hot and then cools off when you move, go straight to t-stat
