I am so glad i found this site and am a new member
I just recently bought a 2008 acura tl for myself.
I decided to get a tl because my parents gave me their 1999 tl when i first started driving around 2005 and i have used it problem free since!

Well so here is the main story/problem.
I recently bought the TL from the acura dealership as a certified pre-owned. Just a week after i bought it the memory seats don't work. I looked online and in the manual of how to fix it but no results came through that were helpful. I looked on previous posts and the windshield wiper works and when i unlocked the car it notices that driver 1 has unlocked it. The memory seat buttons don't work and the mirrors wont tilt down when i put it in reverse. I also have a 30 day warranty on my TL and was wondering if fixing it would be covered. Overall the car is fine but having this one problem really gets to my head :/.

if it's a cpo with a 30 day warranty i'd take it there first and let them figure it out. this should be included in the coverage

 

Do your windshield washer fluid pump and interior auto-dimming rear view mirror work?

If not, pull the 7.5 Amp fuse in #20 in the under-dash fuse box on the driver's side and replace it with a 10.0 Amp fuse-- there is a TSB specifying that upgrade.

If that isn't the issue, I'd let the dealership deal with it.

yes my windshield washer fluid pump works and the interior auto-dimming rear view mirror works... its just the darn memory seats was one of the best features in my opinion

Mine worked when I got the car, but suddenly stopped working. I never use it, so I don't really know when it broke. I just noticed at some point nearly a year after getting the car they don't work and never found a resolution. I replaced the module under the seat that controls the memory seats, but that did nothing.

Does anything happen when you press the buttons? Do the buttons light up? Do they illuminate at night? Mine does absolutely nothing. And the auto tilting mirrors never stop tilting. They just keep moving as long as the car is in R, and go back up a preset amount of time, which typically means they're way off so thats off too. The other stuff works fine.
