I bought 07 TL Type-S and I found interior noise from Navigation unit, dashboard, dashboard by the gauges, and window trims. Is that normal? Has anyone occurred same problems? Is it fixable?

 

i have the same problems... taking to the dealer this weekend...

 

Quite as a mouse. Sometimes the driver door window squeaks.

 

i have the same noises in my 07 TL-S ... the sound is coming from the trim surrounding those areas when it heats up during the day .... run your finger along the trim and you will duplicate those crackling/popping noises

i don't think its fixable ... if you run your finger along the trim every once in a while it reduces the noises... i think someone else recommended using an armorall/303 protectant along the seams of the trim

 

Same here. About a month old and 1700 miles. Quietist car I've ever owned.

Except - the valet key and the wheel lock - I can't find a place to put 'em that they'll stay quite.

 

There is a cut-away space for the wheel lock to rest in the styrofoam found in the jack kit/spare tire housing. When I bought my car, I freaked because I thought the dealer forgot to leave my wheel lock key when they added the locks to the car. But I looked in the spare tire kit, and sure enough, there it was, tucked away tight.

As for the valet key, carry it with you on your keychain. What if somebody busts your window, unlocks your door locks with the actuator, then finds your valet key. They can then steal your car.
