07 TL-S Headlight Isses

I had a clown hit and run on me a couple weeks ago and he ran his bumper up my fender and destroyed that, but the headlights were working before i got it repaired. Now, after it is fixed, both headlights don't turn on. The daytime running lights still work, but the hi intensity lights don't work. It is very unlikely that both bulbs burned out at same time so the next thing i would say is that maybe the transistor burned up. All connections seem to be good but it just isn't getting power to the lights themself.

So, the question is, is there a way to fix this without replacing the entire headlight piece? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

..

Check the fuses.. then check the inverter voltage to & from.. If those check out.. Check the bulbs (make sure they didn't pull them)..

Yeah, we did that and there seems to be power to the little silver power converter box, but no power out of it. What is the actual name of that piece? Cost?

sounds like your inverters are fried.. .. they're quite expensive if you buy acura / honda replacement inverters they'll be pricey.. it's probably much cheaper to buy a kit. If your electronically inclined you can probably repair the inverter... also make sure you're measuring AC out.. DC in..

Yeah, that is what i was thinking it probably was. It is just odd to me that since the body guy never disconnected any of the lights or messed with that inverter, that it would be bad. I suppose there could be a fuse inside that inverter that popped if it got banged around. I suppose i could take the inverter from the other side and see if the lights works first before buying another piece.

What do you mean cheaper to buy a kit? The entire light housing? I know that part alone is 574 bucks.
