07 TL-S clicking before/after brake use

Well my warranty is on the verge of ending and I recently noticed a very subtle clicking sound/feeling when I push the brake and there is a momentum shift in the car. I had the dealer take a look at it about a week ago and they were unable find a problem...imagine that!
I did some searching and this seems like it could be a cv axle issue but I'm not sure. Also, if my warranty were to run out before this issue is taken care of should the dealership be liable since the problem has been documented (technically) during the warranty period? Opinions please!
Thanks in advance.

sine your issue is documented, if something were to fail a little after warranty you have a higher chance of getting it covered under warranty, because you can say that you had brought it in before warranty expired, but they were unable to fix the problem at that time

It is your axle, no biggie. Mine clicks to when accelerating forward/reverse from stop. You can lube the axles if you want; it helps.

The axle is not breaking, I never bothered going to the stealership...
I just grease the shaft and I'm good for 6 months to a year... Almost anyone who drives aggressively has this crapola happening.
Remove bolt from axle

Push it in with the pin

now grease it, and put the bolt back on.

You say "change of momentum", does this also happen under hard acceleration? If you give her in reverse, then in first and so on?
Mine did. They tightened the front axle nuts, which was a temporary fix. It came back gradually within a couple weeks, I asked the dealer to replace the axle nuts, problem solved. Turns out they were worn and not staying tight enough, long enough. It's been months now, lots of hard driving.
The parts are 15$ each, I got it thrown in with a very overpriced oil change from the dealer.

Hey, sorry I forgot to post! The dealership couldn't find anything wrong. They removed all of the bolts for the suspension components and put everything back together. So far the popping has stopped but I think the popping is temperature related. Now that the temp is cooling down I'm wondering if that's why it stopped. I guess time will tell. Sorry I don't have a better resolution than that!

did they refund your money for the control arm? since it seems like they charged you to fix something that wasn't broken
