07 TL has grinding noise when accelerating

07 TL has grinding noise when accelerating
Hi All, recently my 07 TL with 160K has grinding noise coming from driver side front. The noise only occurs when my car is accelerating around 60 mph, cruising and braking at the same speed just don't have that noise. Its rack and pinion has been replaced recently, I am wondering if the noise has something to do with it... Can anybody help? Thanks!

probably a heat shield of some sort. can you hear it as you accelerate from a stop?

It makes no such noise starting from the stop.
