Exclamation '07 TL Driver heated seat problem

I bought an 07 Acura TL and the drivers heated seats only warms the back not the bottom seat cushion?

The heating element in the bottom portion of the seat has gone bad. My passenger seat doesn't work but I haven't found the time nor motivation to take the car in to have the piece installed.

You can buy the element for a good price but installation might be around $120 unless you feel you can do it yourself.. which the install looks pretty tedious.

There's only bottom part in passenger side while the drive has the back + bottom. Strange cost cutting decision.

^^^They try to tell me because the side airbag mount on the side that why the passenger only has bottom portion. I called them BS because in the 2nd gen TL had both bottom and back heating element and they also had side airbag and they just went silence.

yup the wire in there might be broke causing the circuit not completed. Search youtube for seat heater element goes bad.
