'07 TL Dim Ambient Footwell Lights (fixed)
One of the things I looked forward to in the '07 TL was the ambient footwell lights. However, I was kinda disappointed how dim they were. I started looking at them today when I was cleaning my car and realized that they have a small white (opaque) cover over the bulbs. I removed both covers and it is brighter. I will be able to get the total effect tonight when its dark. It took a total of less than 5 minutes total to do both.

[QUOTE=anasjutl]How do you take the covers off? Did you had to unscrew any panels?
Sorry I took so long, I went to New Orleans for a week. No, the panels come off with no tools. They just snap out. The light comes off the panel with a half turn. Then I just used one of my tiny jewelry screwdriver and pried them off. Took about two minutes.

Thanks , I figured out and did them. And yes, they look a little brighter.
Thanks again for the idea

Bone stock tl-s
iTrader: (1)
i did this to mine https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153617 i know it looks hella bright but in person they aren't that bright. alot better than the dull stock bulbs. take some night shots so we can see them on without the covers.
