Question '06 TL Won't Start in Very Specific Situations

Need help please if anyone has ideas.

Starting last week my 06 TL has a habit of not starting whenever I get done at the gym in the evenings. I drive home from work, get changed, and my TL starts up to go to the gym. It only happens in the gym parking lot that I go to a few times a week. It has started ok every morning going to work or other places and again at the end of work each day.

Is there something related to being in a place for only an hour or so that could impact my TL starting?

The first time it happened I got a jump thinking it was a dead battery. The past couple times I have noticed that if I get out of my car and use the actual key to manually lock and unlock the door it will then start right up. I have wondered if it is something related to the security system, or even the driver side door, but that would not explain it only happening in one place/situation.

Any ideas are most appreciated!

Probably your Hands Free Link. There is a problem with some trickling the battery when the car is off. Check out this thread:

He said it starts right up if he opens the door with the key. So dead battery def isn't the issue which means the go to answer for every dead battery doesn't apply here. it sounds like possibly an issue with the anti theft system, pay attention to the little light when it happens next, maybe u can rule that out

What does it do when it won't start?

How old is your battery?

I would get your battery tested. I just went through a similar situation with my 06TL. I instantly ruled out the battery because it was only a year old and all accessories worked like normal when it wouldn't start.
The car would intermittently have starting problems after driving and parking it somewhere for a short period of time. When it doesn't start on the first few attempts, I'd sit and wait 4-5 min, try again, and it'd fire right up and drive like it never died. I went over fuel problems, alternator, starter, etc...
I eventually took the damn battery to get tested at Autozone and it came back as a bad battery. I dropped in a new one and it there have been zero problems.
