Over the past few weeks, my car has had some problems starting in Park. I can use my key to move the shifter to Neutral and then the car will start fine.

 

You've got a bad position switch...not sure where it is on the TL, I had that issue years ago in a Civic.

Yeah I think it's the transmission range switch or wiring if it clears when you move to neutral. Does the PRNDL display show P when it happens? If not could maybe be linkage not getting AT fully into P. The range switch is definitely what signals P and N to the starter cut relay but it is hard to say if the switch is really the culprit.
