Any problems with the trunk latch? I had a plastic piece break and was forced to rm rear seat to access latch and open trunk. The manual release behind the rear armrest did not work nor did the manual release at the latch. This must be a "problem" since all Honda and Acura dealers have them in stock. Rear seat rm is a pain.

mine just broke last night!! Im gonna call my dealership after i take a shower to see if they have the peice and will install it.. i hope it wont cost extra since my trunk has dynamat

I discovered this part is the same for a honda accord and others also-Acura part # 74851-SDA-A22 from my El Paso Acura dealer $92,from the El Paso Honda dlr $58, from the Honda dlr in Las Cruces, NM $72 and the Acura dlr in Albuquerque,NM $58. Beware of the crooks in the business. The install is a no brainer-2 small bolts 1 electrical plug in, and the cable itself.
