'05 TL-Electrical Issues
my car was parked outside for an unusually rainy 24 hours - no flooding where I was parked but rained almost constantly for 24 hours.
When I went to move the car the doors would not unlock using the remote, the drivers door did unlock manually but using the remote and the switch on the drivers door did nothing. The switch on the passenger door will unlock the doors.
I have decided that it is probably a bad actuator on the drivers door.
When I actually moved the car I noticed that the AC won't blow cold and I do not hear the condenser trying to kick on. I opened the hood to see if I could hear any clicking under there and I noticed that the cooling fan does not go on. I let the car run for a few minutes and the temp gauge got up the half and stayed there but the cooling fan still did not kick on. Do you think water got in ruined the actuator, the AC relay and the Cooling fan relay all at the same time? Seems weird to me that all three things would go at once.
thanks for any help you can provide.
