'05 TL A/C Compressor Switch...

...anyone know which wires to connect to make the a/c clutch engage? There are 4 wires in the connector and I'm trying to add refrigerant because of a slow leak but the pressure isn't high enough for the clutch to kick in.

Tks

probably best to rent the correct equipment to charge the system or take it to someone who has the right stuff. filling the A/C system is not like filling your gas tank...

I've got the manifold guages and all. Just want to refill the system cause of a small leak in the evaporator but it's too hot now to work on it and will be a winter project. I'm just used to working on GM vehicles not imports...so I just wanted to know which two wires to jump.

...tks but its not specific to the relays or compressor for an Acura TL. Their Osram relays have no diagrams on them so I wouldn't know which pins to short to force the a/c clutch to engage. Also there are 2 relays in the fuse box associated with the a/c...

jump those on the relay socket and it should engage the clutch.

...I did figure it out a couple of weeks back and got the system recharged again. Had to jump the compressor relay and the fan relay in the fuse box under the hood. She's blowing cold again for now. gonna stick the gages on it again this weekend to check and see if every thing is still the same or if it's leaked down a little.
Tks again shmobby for your help though!
