'05 TL 5-speed Rough Idle

So my car just started this about 2hrs ago. I didnt notice anything was wrong with the car while I was driving home on the high way and if i was above 40 and had my foot on the gas. But when I started to slow down and got to about 20mph all the way to idle the car would be very rough and start to shake like it was about to shut off and my CEL came on. The car has 100k miles on it. When I got the car at 77k I changed all of the spark plugs in the car. I disconnected the battery to try and get the computer to re-set and it is still doing the same thing. It also sounds like it is misfiring a little but and when I got to the back of the car where the exhaust tips are it smells different. It does not smell like your typical exhaust smell. From what I have been reading on here it looks like a primary O2 sensor but I dont know which one. So I am taking it to autozone in the AM. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue and what the fix was. Also wanted to see what you guys thought the problem could be.

She's trying to tell you whats wrong by displaying the CEL.
Have the CEL read from an autoparts store.

without these codes known, your guess is as good as any one elses.

report back with these codes

^^This. You need to find out what the codes are before anybody can give you any definitive advice. Stop at your local autozone and have them read the codes. It could be something very easy to fix.

Mine did the same exact thing around the same exact mileage. It sucked because it happened right before the 105k service, but I ended up replacing the actual valve.

Good to know. Thanks for the update. Seems like every honda runs into a problem with the EGR at some point. Worse off in earlier models.
