can someone tell me if there is any DIY on 05 tl auto trans fluid change on here? any help would be appreciated.

 

pretty easy

drive car to warm up fluid
park car on ramps or jack up
remove drain bolt on trans
let fluid drain out
replace bolt
add just under 3 qts of fluid
lower car and test drive checking for leaks and you're good

if you want to do the 3X3 do the above but add drive 5 miles at the end between the 1 and 2 change and the 2 and 3 change.

 

okay easy enough. do i have to fill through the dipstick tube or is there a fill hole somewhere?

 

No there is a fill plug right by the fuse box, its marked ATF you just need a funnel with a hose to reach or a really long funnel.
