My Shifter has been acting up lately. It keeps getting stuck on Park and on Neutral, and I get it to move only when I stick a screw driver inside the unlock slot. After reading a few threads on here, I thought the problem was my brake light switch until I found out that the brake lights are working fine. What else could it be? Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks a bunch.

 

Check for power at the shift lock solenoid.
