04TL Nav stuck on start up screen

I started my car and the nav screen never changed. I love my 04 nav and am lost without it and all the other controls like audio are inaccessible. Occasionally the screen will change and pop up the insert telephone number screen to search for directions in that manner. When I touch the screen it just goes back to the start up TL Nav moon screen. Is my computer dead? How do I get it fixed? Are there better options now it is 2011 and that is 04 technology.

if im not mistaken audio controls are accessible without the use of navi.

Cped, you're going to have to take out the dvd drive in the trunk and send it to alpine for $150 for them to repair the drive. they'll send the drive back in 2-3 weeks.
