04 AT Transminssion Weak In Reverse
04 AT Transminssion Weak In Reverse
I have a 04 TL AT with 44,000 miles on it. When I shift into reverse, it takes significant throttle to get the car to start moving. This is true even on a flat surface. In most AT cars I havce owned, simply taking your foot off the brake once you are in reverse will move the car on a flat surface. If I am on an incline (like my parking garage), the problem is even worse. With throttle applied gently, the car doesn't move in reverse at all. Applying throttle as gently as possible, the car then suddenly move backwards more quickly than I want. I don't sense slipping and catching. Any thoughts?
