Hello, been lurking around here but never got the guts to post lol. Anyways

As another problem forum member Indy has, i have a problem with hearing a popping noise coming from the driver front side when steering while accelerating slowly from a stop and accelerating then coasting and accelerating again.

Then sometime afterwards, I was taking a turn and applied the brakes (not hard, but not soft) and I heard some sort of deep clicking like something was rotating and hitting up against the brake pedal (I could feel it through the pedal of course)

My question is what could be the problem and if they are somewhat connected.

if you turn the wheel from a stop and slowly go- if you get click click click
thats often CV joint
If not a DIY person- have it checked at a shop immediatly
Cure is to replace the axle assembly

 

ok thanks. any comment about my brake pedal vibration? i guess it's kinda like a grinding noise if it helps more.

 

I have the same exact problem, only with the gas petal at highway speeds and the initial 900RPM mark.
