'04 TL auto trans fix?

Ok i have the infamous transmission slipping problem car is at 189k would changing the solenoids and torque converter solve my issue? Or does it have to be rebuilt

Rebuilt. Or swap in a 6-sped to fix it.

That's like closing the barn door after the cows have gotten out.
Probably another big dollar repair.
Have a shop take a look.

How about modding a 07 tl trans. To fit. Is there any possible way for it i can get one for fairly cheap from a friend of mine
