Question '04 Lumbar Support is kaput!

I recently felt my lumbar support totally give up the ghost and before I rip the back of the driver's seat off, I thot I would ask around if anyone else has had this problem and what the fix was.

Seat also seems a little loose but I don't think the problems are related (I will snug up the bolts).

Any thoughts?

Check the electrical circuits and plugs, particularly under the seat. Hopefully the lumbar switch is not getting power, or switch itself is out rather than the bladder.
I haven't had the problem and don't recall any posts mentioning lumbar supports giving up the ghost.
G/L; let us know the answer.

Are you out of warranty? This is definitely something for them to remedy if you're still within warranty.

I checked the fuses - all good. I will pull the seat out and check the wiring under it. Switch 'feels' good but I will check continuity on it as well.

And let you all know what I find.

Thanks.

I have an 04 TL and about 2 years ago, the bag that blows up in the seat to give lumbar support actually tore/blew up. replaced under warranty.

Unfortunately, 2 years later, it won't blow up unless I lean forward and it does not blow up to the maximum setting. I am not a big guy. But, I am glad I have 11 months left of warranty still..
