'04 Acura TL Horn, Cruise and Radio controls do not work

I have an 04 Acura TL and had the transmission worked on. Afterward all the steering wheel controls, horn, cruise and radio controls all stopped working. I took it back and all the fuses under the hood and in the cabin were checked and are good. My dealer is a crook and I wouldn't ask him to trouble shoot it because the guy would probably charge $200 and I don't trust him.
I have seen others had a post about this but can't find it to ask what the problem was. HELP. My wife drives it and she is all over me about it.

If these controls worked before your car was brought into the dealer for transmission work and they stopped working afterwards, then the dealer is responsible for fixing the problem free of charge.

Go into the dealer and asked them to fix the issue you are having since it was their fault.

Horn, cruise and radio

I already did that.. Someone has had this problem before and I'm trying to find out what was wrong and what was done to correct it.

Here's the thread where someone else had their transmission replaced and had the same issue: https://acurazine.com/forums/problem...ntrols-728196/

Sadly there's no mention of a fix. Take it back to the shop that did the work ASAP.

Take it to an Acura dealership, have them diagnose it and prepare an invoice, and bring that to the shop for them to pay for. If they refuse, then leave the car with them until everything is fixed.

As I said earlier and others have as well. Stop trying to fix this issue yourself. This is the fault of the shop that worked on your car. They MUST fix it free of charge.

Could be a problem with your cable reel in the steering column, or a loose connection at the reel's sub-harness, as all of your issues appear to tie through there.

What exactly does that mean? If they dropped the sub frame/transmission, they likely broke the cable reel.

What kind of shop was this? Sounds like they don't have a clue how to properly work on transmissions...
