04 AT 25k miles -- vibrating/shaking @ 45+ mph

Hey everyone, became aware of this annoyance after the dealer changed my oil but might have been present before but I just didn't notice. It is a more of a shaky feeling than vibrating and I can feel it even without acceleration. It is noticeable at 45 but even more at 55ish.

I've had the 5th gear vibration already applied previously, had my tires rebalanced and rotated w/ fresh alignment and proper inflation. Could it be due to the oil change? I was thinking more likely it could be the axle or engine mounts?

Don't know if this is relevant either but the only change I've made to my suspension was I put in the a-spec suspension about 3 weeks ago. Any ideas? Thanks!

Get your wheels and tires rebalanced. Its possible a weight fell off somewhere. Also have them check the runout of the wheels. Maybe one got bent some how. If its still there then start looking at suspension/alignment issues.

if the problem started after rotation- put the tires back and see if that fixes it.
When you take a tire that has been coasting along straight ahead inthe back- and make it pull the car and turn from the front- it takes 100 miles for the belts to get used to the change!
BMW now says NOT to swap the tires for that very reason!

Did you have the balance and align done after the new shocks were installed- because they change everythings settings

Actually I don't like rotating my tires myself. For that same reason and many others.

Sorry if I wasn't being clear, but I meant after I noticed the problem then I went and did the rebalance, rotation, and alignment but the problem is still there.
