Im not a huge fan of the ATLP base exhaust, I really want the XLR8 quads but I dont have the rear bumper for that.. im gonna try and do a custom quad tipped exhaust but I think I want to lower it first.

idk if I like the trunk/lip spoilers, I saw one today on a stock SSM TL while I was on lunch and I think I like the clean look of the no spoiler rear on my car. idk thats just me.

It's amazing how the A-Spec kit transforms these cars. I've always thought it was the single most important mod to do. If I hadn't put that on, I'm not sure I would have kept modding at all.

Why didn't you get the Type-S rear A-Spec
All you had to do was cut the middle portion of the rear bumper (middle lower)
and install the Type-S A-Spec... ready for quads

Well u forgot the fact that they never made an AM TLS so I would have to get the rear lip painted, which costs extra. and i didnt want to have to worry about that. I couldnt spend the money on the XLR8 quads anyway. my wife would kill me! The stock tips are growing on me each day so I may just buy mufflers and swap the rears and weld factory tips back on. i would just need to clean them up cuz they are dirty as fawk!

ditto, I've had mine since the '08s... I've done the aspec kit and suspension and rims all in the '13s

speaking of which, have you decided which suspension to do? The aspecs performs great, especially for a DD. haven't driven in snow yet but since it's factory i think they'll be fine.

can't wait to do the rear sway now

I feel the same way, 15% of that might be because I am cheap and lazy.

Why do you want exhaust so bad?

I have Stage II and happy as hell with it
60$ res
110$ tips (you want quads)
100$ welding

I was thinking about stage ii with those tips. I don't see those tips on your car though!

the cat-backs do have the whole it's a complete engineer kit thing going; as opposed to the hacked weld of the stage IIs

Free welder is great They charge me too much
I didn't know you had Stage III

Me no like UA7 look. I am a proud UA6 owner
Me and J. tried Richie to create a better base exhaust tip than ATLP one but he didn't create one yet
If he did...

exactly, that's the only reason I want something clean.
I think I have 8 welded spots at my stock exhaust
I did stage 4 once and went back to stage 2 after...
Smoke doesn't leave my exhaust

If something happens I am looking forward to that $425 cheap exhaust. Tanabe? Something like that

I am scared to pay 1000 and get something too loud. I don't know I can't live with loud exhaust.

I watch videos of Tyler, cold start sounds like hell
I heard ATLP in person too. JnC, the headlight guy has it, ok it sounds perfect but it sounded a little like my Stage II

That's why I turned my head onto XLR8, but now people say it has way more deep sound than ATLP

Yeah I could add res. and make it quieter but why am I paying 1000 then
That's why, cheapest one

Rv6 sounds nice too but tooooo, how do you say...deep or tough I don't know
I don't want crazy Bass, I need Treble

You can't judge an exhaust system just from cold starts

It sounds sexy as fugg when driving around. Even my mom and my girlfriend like it

I have no idea about civic but sometimes I see some of them sound just awesome, then it's probably hfp then.. perfect

I agree, XLR8 makes a great exhaust but for $1000, I can think of a few other aesthetic mods I want to do first
