Your friendly 707 representative
So I was at work when the heavies came into town.
My office is directly below final approach and the sound of 4800 horsepower caught my attention.
Needless to say, I decided to check it out afterwards.
One hot ride deserves another...
Turbo-Supercharging 40's style !
If there are any others in the 707 area, hit me up. We should get together for a cruise and photo shoot in the valley !

Thx Fellas,
It was at the Napa County Airport.
There was a bunch of men/women from the Air Mobile Command based at Travis though.
Afterwards everyone went to the bar to watch the Stanley cup finals and it looked like some kind of officers club.
All in all, it was a great time...watchin the B-17 taxi off was F-in awesome.

^^^Yeah, Those are american bombers.
It probably represents how many enemy fighters that bomber shot down.
The bomb symbols represent how many missions that bomber flew in.

Effing awesome. I would kill to get a shot of my AM in the same frame as either a B17 or B24. A P51 in non-painted aluminum would be the ultimate!
Many moons ago, I was running past Martin State Airport near Baltimore in my 79 Trans Am and saw "Fifi", a fully restored B29 taxiing out for takeoff. Everyone had pulled to the side of the road to watch this HUGE aircraft takeoff. I'm surprised it didn't cause any accidents. That airport was the scene of an F117 Stealth fighter crash some years later during an airshow.
Nice shots---thanks for sharing.

So here are a couple more pix that my friend took of some racing P-51's in his hometown Hollister airport.
So F-n Sic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also have a $hit ton of pix from Fleet week in SF, Capitol Air show in Sac, and Nellis air show but cant find them at the moment. I will look more.
If you dig the car scene, I got countless car shows, concours de elegance from multiple years etc etc. Lemme know if your interested and I'll post some in a diff thread.
