Yay or Nay??

I put a small Type S badge on the grill on my car. The same one on the steering wheel in the Type S models, got the idea from the S line Audi models. I don't know yet I am 50/50 on this...

Tell me what you think?? Suggestions.

If it were any bigger, I would have to say nay, but I really really like it. It's something that isn't hugely distracting from the rest of that sexy whip you have

And mmmmmm GT500. Is that pop's ride?

I was actually thinking of doing this with the Type-S badge I removed from the trunk; I was gonna put it in a different spot on the grille tho.

I think it looks good

Did you actually take it off your steering wheel or did you somehow get another one?

Exactly what I was trying to accomplish the badge on the trunk is too big and it would look tacky. Thanks!

I'll try to get some tomorrow

And my grill is not painted, that the way it came from the factory slightly dark/grayish color.

Thanks and your right, because this is actually the badge from the bottom of the steering wheel. The notion was if I were to apply the Type S badge from the trunk it would be to bulky and tacky and not really go well, I just wanted something that could be seen up close for like grill photos and such. Thanks Again!

Here ya go, keep it mind it is small, and that's what I was going for, I think its the perfect size for the grill. Like scotterson said "nice and subtle". And to tell you the truth you really can't see it from far away. I didn't want it to look gaudy.

Oh and don't mind the bug tar...

I think it looks very clean and subtle. Nice work.

Where can I pick myself up one of these small steering wheel "Type S" badges if you don't mind me asking? The only emblem or badge i'm finding are the bigger ones from the trunk. Thanks in advance!

Aaron,
That looks really good dude! You will have a lot of people copying that nice inexpensive mod(including me!). I love the subtleness of it and how it adds a nice touch touch to the front grille. Good job
Did you use 3M to attach it?

i guess i'm the only one who doesn't like it. i think it looks too tiny and just silly. yet any bigger would be too big. so i guess i just dont like the concept, as a fellow wdp type s owner who recently removed the rear type s badge and decided there was nowhere worth relocating it to. it's not terrible, but i have to vote nay.

I agree looks a little small. But I love front grill badging, especially on German cars. Does it fit inside the inlay above it?
