Just over 2 months after I got her, pickup truck ran over a metal pipe on the gothels bridge and it was deflected into my lower grille and bumper:
About 2 months later, stupid woman in a chrslyer 300m chose not to yield the right of way when making a turn. baaam I hit her going about 35 mph $8,700 in damages:
and finally 3 months after that... 18 wheeler on the NJTPK 78E decided to merge into my lane...ahhh the agony! $3700 worth of damages!

Yeah Yeah.. Don't worry that plate has since long been removed. I needed someway to mount my EZ Pass since I only had the plate bracket at the time. I think what I'm amazed at most though everytime I look at these pictures is how the LUG of the 18wheeler destroyed the RJ wheel. Let's just hope I can go longer than a few months without anything happening.

what happened to your factory warrantee's do they become void? and what if you brought car to acura and they chose the body shop to do the repairs?

WOW, i came over from the CL forum i never seem to stray from, and like 1 out of every 15 pics is a wreck on here. PLEASE, YOU GUYS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!!!!! lol. or is there something wrong with the car besides people going too fast? im confused...

Came across these pics of this 2005 Acura TL on an insurance website....Obviously it was involved in a very bad accident but I really wonder what happened...

i was recently involved in a front end collision with my 07 TL Type-S... and i noticed that i had similar damage like BLACKURA_NY's black TL that got totaled... i have taken to an inusrance approved body shop and from looking at the car he has told me that its not totaled... the damage is very severe... all the frame components in the front end need to be replace... everything in the front is to be replaced... he tells me the damage is not going ot be enough to total the car... **i will be provided the estimate tomorrow** so i will know for sure then... what can i do to ensure that this car is totaled and not put back toghter bcz its obvious to me that it will lose its integrity...

Anyways.... that is bad... very similar to mine... except i had both airbags deploy. and each air bag is worth a $1k
also, what really got my car over the limit was that the engine block had cracked... that was about $7k on the estimate, and what really put the car over the the totalled limit. my repair quote was around $26-27k in damage.. and the car was only worth $31,000 to the insurance company.
in NY we have a certain amount requirement.. like 70% of the value or more

UPDATE:
i was promised to have the final estimate by Friday... but nothin has been done to my car since the auto body shop hasnt had time... therefor its being takin to another shop as i type this...
wt i noticed today was that the roof has caved in... seems like the body of the car has over time crumpled bcz of the impact... so im guessing it will continue ot mess up the longer i have the car...
the car has not been declared a total loss yet...which is pissing me off... bcz the auto body adviros said he is practically going to get another front end of a TL and weld it on my car... WTF? bullshit... the car is in very bad shape and will require atlest 150+ hours of labor...
If the vechile is not totalled i plan on contacting an attorney bcz i dont want ot die in a car that is not reliable...
