WilzRSX's Progress Thread-New Ride!

thanks man, currently have no other plans for mods any time soon, that may be it for awhile.
just got back from running some errands and i must say, i love how the car drives. i loved it when it was just the 3.7 IM and ZDX TB, but the PnP runners is a perfect addition to complement that combo.

SNOWWWWW
Finally got to test out the new tires in snow. I didn't really need to go anywhere, but went out to run a quick errand just to see how the tires would do.
They did very well in snow and snow packed areas, but not so good on icy areas. It's cold enough and snowing pretty steady where I went inside for no more than 10 minutes, came back to the car covered in snow and the windshield/windows covered in ice.

GODZILLA & 3G TL
Nice pics Will. Glad YOU have a clean TL right now lol!! Mine looks like total arse after driving to and from work, few errands, etc this week. Hopefully it warms up enough by mid-week so I can at least do a quick pressure wash (and get a few pics of winter mode ). I'm glad your tires are doing pretty well...I had the same experience with those on icy areas, have to drive very carefully. My new Blizzak LM-60s that I have on my old RJ Legends are awesome. Never have had true winter tires before and I had no idea what I was missing. It's almost like driving on regular dry pavement! The only slight traction issues I had were for a second or 2 when the tires were plowing through some snowpack...as soon as they connect with either hard pack or pavement, they catch & go. Great investment for sure.
By the way...you should get a catback system next

Did you ever get your JnC headlights installed?
I would love to get a catback system, but they're pretty expensive, so I'm good.

A little update since its been awhile,
I came across a deal I couldn't pass up, it was for a Milled MDX Spacer, milled down to the same size as the P2R IM Spacer, but for a third of the price. I was able to pick it up for $40 shipped, but it did not include any of the longer bolts needed to install. I tried looking around locally, but had no luck, so I decided to search Honda/Acura parts catalog and found the correct length bolts and studs that I needed. All 7 bolts and 2 studs only costed me $8 shipped.
Got it installed and it does as P2R advertised, there is additional low end torque with no loss at the top end. The full sized MDX spacer caused a low of high power, which i experienced before. The milled spacer works great with the SH-AWD IM and PnP Intake Runners that I already have. The ports on the milled spacer also match up with the PnP Intake Runners.
Not bad for $48 for all the parts versus $120 from P2R.

The update I promised...
I like to search craigslist every so often to see if anything good pops up on there for the TL, sometimes the seller has no idea what they're selling. Last week while searching, I came across someone selling their stock suspension after upgrading to coils. The suspension looked very clean from the picture that was posted, so I sent a email inquiring about them and asked for the part numbers on each shock. I got the following part numbers.
08W60-SEP-2M10-E1
08W60-SEP-2M10-F1
08W60-SEP-2M00-CA
After searching and looking them up, it ended up being the A-Spec MT Suspension. I immediately met up with him to check them out and they looked great. He was asking for $250, but I offered $200 and he took. He said the suspension had close to 50k them.
Great deal for some A-Specs, pic of the suspension
I got them installed this past weekend, then washed her, here are the pics of the new look
I also made a couple pics showing the different drops on my TL
Stock
Stock Base 17" Wheels
235/45-17 Tires
Tein H-Techs
Ron Jon 18" Rev Wheels
245/40-18 Tires

Are you serious
Glad to hear that haha
I didn't think of A-Spec because the drop you had made me think you had A-Spec suspensions all the time
Why didn't you install H Tech springs to the A-Specs?
How is the ride?

I didn't feel like taking the two suspension setups apart. I actually sold my old setup to a local member on here, gave him an excellent local member deal and will be installing it too.
The ride feels good, very similar to my old setup.

I originally wanted the A-Spec suspension for my TL, but it seemed like it was hit or miss on the drop as some looked great and some didn't look like it dropped the car at all. I missed out on all of the deals/group buys for the A-Spec, when I was looking, but I got a great deal on my old setup. It's a excellent combo with no issues, I loved it.
When I randomly came across this, I figure I could try it out. If I didn't look good or didn't like, I could flip it on Azine for profit, but that won't be happening.

It's been a week since installing the A-Spec suspension and finally got the alignment dialed in correctly. There was originally an issue with getting the driver rear toe in spec, but messing with the cam bolt got it in spec. I guess the orientation of the washer had something to do with it.
I have the SPC upper arms for camber and everything else is stock.
