Waz up, I just joined the forum. I've been reading it for a while and noticed the absence of Redondo Red TLs, which happens to be my favorite color for the TL. I'm planning on buying sometime next year, still need to save some money. I was hoping you guys could post some pics to help me decide on this color, my brother says it looks 'pink'. Also I heard a rumor that RR will be discontinued, true? Thanks guys.

 

me too, I was so close to jumping into a Redondo red TL with a 6 speed MT, and navi, but it had no warranty, sooooo....

I have a RR 2005 TL with NAVI. I think it is the hottest color.

 

I've never seen one in person. Did they only make them one year or something?

I had a 2004 RRP before my current 2006 NBP.

I think RRP > NBP

RRP with stock wheels plus A-Spec FTW!

 

I love that color....very similar to the color of my old 96 accord!

 

I don't care for hot/warm colors on anything I have......but......that is as good as it gets, very nice

I really like Redondo Red with the Camel interior. I might have gone RRP if the Camel interior had been more consistent -- I counted at least 4 different colors. Why does every color interior have a black dash cap and steering wheel?

 

With the windows so dark 5% and the windshield 20%, how do you know what color is the interior. Just wondering.

 

i think the Red only came with camel thats why he said that.Maybe somebody else can chime in.

 

They had two options for the interior, Camel & Black leather 04 thru current.

 

RRP came with Parchment, Camel or Ebony thru last year and they dropped the Ebony option for 06.

RRP will probably be replaced with Moroccan Red Pearl (see RDX) for 07.

 

Well for 04 thru 05 the only options were Ebony & CAMEL, Not Parchment. Example for the WDP interior options were Camel & Parchment, Ebony was not available till 05-06.

 

I did not mean any specific RRP TL; just that I like RRP with the Camel interior. I looked at an RRP/Camel TL at the dealer when I was shopping.

Interior color was actually a big motivating factor for me. If the Camel interior were more uniform, I might have switched to a different color to get it (I liked it that much). I have never had a car with that color interior. I would have loved the Quartz (grey) interior also if it had been more uniform. As it is, Ebony is the only interior color I am satisfied with in the TL since it is more uniform.

 

No offense, I was just wondering how you knew what color. When I'm in N.C. I'll pm you to check out your TL.

i had to special order my white with ebony interrior casue there only made upon request....

 

I have only seen one in the O.C.
I do not like red cars at all but I must admit that it looked pretty good.

 

I saw a stock one in Millbury the other day as I was heading to Blackstone valley to see Click. It looked pretty good.

 

I knew it wasn't just me that never see a Redondo Red TL. Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone have more pics? I'm interested in a RRP with the A-Spec package, ebony interior, chrome rims and wing spoiler. From what I've read I think I might have to have it built to order.

The color pallette in my '04 TL brochure shows RRP came with parchment, camel, and ebony. I don't have a scanner, but that's what it shows.

 

Maybe in Cali.....my broucher for 04 offers two optional interiors, ebony & camel on the eastsideddd.

In May I was able to get a '06 RR Navi w/Parchement interior in NC... I love the color combination more everytime I drive it (once I peel my wife's fingers from the steering wheel).

Parchment has always been available with RRP. I have all brochures.

WDP has never come with Camel (although it should b/c that would be hot). WDP was avail in Parchment or Quartz for 04/05 and then with Parch or Ebony for 06.

 

Who cares......oh my bag you do, post your brochures on the thread since you have mucho spare time on your hands.
