Wheel Emblems

Looking to paint my stock 05' wheels and emblems. How have other people masked and painted the emblems on the hub caps?

Paint cap the color you want emblem, tape off emblem, paint cap? Or could plastidip over after paint cap wanted emblem color, then paint over plastidip & peel emblem. Not sure how easily it peels, ain't used myself so. Or paint then TouchUp paint brush emblem.

Yea I looked at doing that. Unfortunately plasti dip isn't easy to work with to cut and trim. Ends up kinda rough normally. I've seen others paint the emblems, just a matter of figuring out how they did it

Mhmm... TouchUp paint sticks are nice. Brush end works wonders. I painted my own chrome caps but emblem gets "pressed on" & locked from backside so little different

Just make the color coordinate with another color on the car.

Yea I plan on having it coordinate. I was thinking of just doing silver. I guess the touchup paint stick would work best.
