Has anyone checked out the difference between the earlier color, Satin Silver Metallic and the newer color, Alabaster Silver Metallic???

I was thinking of putting the new TL-S lip spoiler on my SSM '05 TL.

Will this be a great color mismatch, or will it look ok??

u can always paint it if it doesn't look right

 

I have an ASM and have researched these boards numerous times. From what I remember reading the SSM has a more bluish tint to it and the ASM is a bit whiter than SSM.

If I were in your shoes I'd see what a body shop would charge to paint it SSM. Can't be much...?

 

^ He's right. Someone on here got the 04 SSM lip and tried putting on his 06 ASM and the colors mismatched by quite a bit. I've parked next to an ASM and the difference is very apparent. You might jus wanna get one painted after ordering. I personally think SSM looks better....... but I'm biased.
